A Little More
Since childhood, I’ve felt a natural connection to the other side of the veil — through dreams, visitations from loved ones and moments of striking synchronicity. My dreams especially, at times revealed events before they occurred: the early passing of my sister and even the child who nine months later would become my daughter. In one dream, I watched her like a flip-book — growing before my eyes from an infant into the pigtailed toddler she would one day become. At times, I simply knew things without knowing how. I could sense the presence of people who would later become significant in my life — feeling their importance long before I could understand why.
One day, an incidental visit to an energy healer opened an enormously profound vision. Filled with vivid symbolism and images of animals, the experience felt undeniably meaningful — deeply connected to events in my life and impossible to ignore.
Soon after, during meditation, I began seeing animals regularly. Each time, I would research their meanings and find astonishing parallels to what was unfolding in my life. Like the symbols that appear in dreams, these were Spirit Animals — messengers offering insight, guidance, and wisdom. I was fascinated, yet hesitant to share. How could I explain this without sounding strange? “I see animals in meditation” — not exactly casual conversation. I knew that in some cultures, such visions were considered blessings, but also knew many might not understand.
In time, being drawn to study both Reiki and Shamanic practices felt completely natural. In these traditions, reverence for animal spirit is woven into everything through the understanding they carry messages, reminders, and often protection. Through my studies and experiences, I came to see how these sacred spirits guide and support us across time and space. Today, they are an integral part of my healing work, and I feel deeply blessed by the insights they continue to share.
Each day on my path, I make the conscious choice to ground myself and my practice in connection to God. To Creator. Those who walk this path distinctly know there is both light and darkness within the unseen realms. Intention is everything, and I solely choose the Light.
